Exceptional silver plated bronze cart of which only this example is known
The central base of the cart opens to reveal a removable tray that can receive hot water used to maintain the heat of food in a bain-marie, the filling plugs used as a handle, it has two receptacles for sauces and or deposit of utensils.
This part has on each side handles composed of masks of fauna in the round supporting the twisted handles of the cart.
The central shaft of diabolo form decorated at its base with fruits, foliage, pomegranates burst.
Includes two putti with hoofed feet holding in their hands arms raised a torch, each separated by a dolphin has the humanistic head of an old man
Very beautiful composition.
From the bottom of the central shaft four violin arms decorated with foliage and a lion's head are supported by the wheels.

  • Size of the opening part 80cm on 46cm
  • Size of the lower part excluding wheels, 100cm on 60cm.
