CLAUDE PARENT (1923-2016) – A SIGNIFICANT CREATION BY THE ARCHITECT FOR A CONTEMPORARY TOWNHOUSE IN NEUILLY-SUR-SEINE
This unique coffee table was specially designed and crafted in 1992-1993 for the private residence of Mr. and Mrs. X. Featuring a rectangular design with an asymmetrical base, it boasts an exceptional structure. Each leg, one extending as a prominent support beneath the tabletop, is made with Macassar ebony veneer and rests on pads adorned with chrome-plated metal accents.
The tabletop is framed by a black lacquered edge, while the surface is arranged in a chevron pattern, combining cognac leather with Macassar ebony veneer. The central section is enhanced with chrome-plated metal elements, adding a refined contrast. The table is completed by a glass top with a distinctive central cutout (not visible in photos due to reflections).
Crafted by the Ateliers Saint-Jacques.
