After training under Mathurin Moreau, Henri Honoré Plé began exhibiting at the Salon from 1877, receiving an honorable mention in 1879. Active within the Society of French Artists, he aligned with the Art Nouveau movement and was awarded a bronze medal at the 1900 Paris Universal Exposition.
