COLCOMBET François
Born on June 30, 1965, to a nature enthusiast and wildlife painter father, he grew up in an atmosphere of workshops, filled with the scents of paintbrushes, colors, and turpentine. At the age of 15, he delved into academic drawing, influenced by Aubanel and Truphémus, his Lyon-based masters. He pursued studies at the Fine Arts and had encounters with numerous artists and writers. The "Vertu Bleu" and the Montparnasse of Lyon became significant influences, and it was here that he had his first impactful exhibition.
His connections to the Camargue region led him to establish a studio to prepare an exhibition on bullfighting.
Today, he shares his artworks with a select group of privileged individuals, among which the Galerie Origines in Arles is included.
