Bidjogo spoon
Very rare Bidjogo spoon, from Guinea Bissau, Bissagos archipelago, the bowl in the shape of a "chistera" surmounted by a typical standing female figure, placed on a grid base.
Wearing the traditional raffia skirt, the body scarified with diamond on the front, adorned with a belt and a necklace.
The arms coming back towards the breasts with small marked hands, two cross incisions on each shoulder, long neck, head with delicate slightly prognathic features, traditional cascade hairstyle, very beautiful attitude.
Caramel used patina for the character,
