Very beautiful Baoulé or Yaouré loom pulley, from the Ivory Coast.

The facial features reproduce those of Baoulé / Yaouré masks, encircled by a jagged collar, arched eyebrows, half-closed eyes, the hairstyle drawing a tripartite pattern on the top of the forehead, the headdress raised in a bun with three shells with the tip falling on the back of the neck.

Beautiful finesse in the modeling of the features and in the rendering of the cap and the deeply engraved geometric patterns adorning the stirrup.

Beautiful used black patina, shiny red in places.
