Two-part buffet in ebonized ash. The lower section, with recessed lattice-patterned side cheeks, opens with three solid doors topped by three drawers, with drawer fronts adorned with mother-of-pearl. The upper section, set back and comprised of niches, features a central stained glass panel with lead cames depicting a stylized rose known as the Mackintosh Rose or the Tearful Rose, with a series of mother-of-pearl squares accentuating this decorative panel on each side.
