Very beautiful and rare ceremonial rice spoon anthropomorphic Dan from Ivory Coast.

Deep oval spoon supported by the lower part of a male body whose buttocks and calves powerfully modeled bring a feeling of strength and balance. The back of the spoon is scarified by a symbolic geometric pattern and reveals an animal form, while the lower part of the torso is geometrized, the waist and the top of the calves are encircled by a ringed pattern.

Wood with a beautiful deep black shiny patina.
