Pretty feminine spoon with beautiful proportions. Legs slightly bent with bulging calves, feet with marked toes, ankles adorned with twisted metal bracelets, scarifications on the thighs and buttocks. Scarified bust with an upholsterer's nail. Scarified back of the spoon bowl.
These spoons were the prerogative of the hospitable women of the clan on the occasion of the Festival of Merit. The women would come forward with their spoons to show that they were the mistresses of the festival. The spoons were filled with rice grains and distributed to the needy in the village.
