REMBRAND BUGATTI, portrait of Mrs. Denise Ferrero
Rembrandt Bugatti (1884-1916) Rare and unique bronze bust of Mrs. Denise Ferrero (Blanche-Denise Ferrero-Willmann) made in 1904, a proof known to be unique until today.
Rembrandt was therefore 20 years old when he produced this work. Une trajectoire Foudroyante (in the title of Mme Véronique Fromanger's book). Bronze proof with green brown patina, lost wax casting, old edition from the 20s / 30s by the founder Pannini (having ceased these activities in the 1930s).
Signed and dated R. Bugatti 1904 and bears the lost wax casting mark PANNINI paris towards the base. Rembrandt Bugatti made his first exhibition at the Hébrard gallery in 1904, well known for these animal bronzes, he also produced many works of male and female characters.
