LOUIS MAJORELLE (1859-1926)

Important tea table in molded mahogany, presenting a rectangular tray in bowl, decorated with sculpted flower rushes, and a crotch tablet with curved cut, with inlaid decoration in exotic woods with lily pads and floral patterns. They rest on a curved ribbed base joined by an arch and a spacer bar. Side handles in chased gilt bronze with embossed butomate motif. Signed «L.Majorelle Nancy».
