Model created circa 1927. Posthumous casting.
Art cast iron lamp with varied green and brown patina on an octagonal base with cut corners in black marble. White opalescent glass bulb cover.
Signed and stamped by the workshop.
Height 42 cm (total), 39 cm (excluding base).
This model is listed under number 958 in the artist's reference catalog. It is said to have been created based on a monkey named "Boubou" from the Jardin des Plantes and received a medal at the Salon des Humoristes in Paris in 1927.
