Vico Magistretti, born in Milan in 1920, is a pioneering figure in Italian design. Graduating in architecture from the city of his birth, he began his career focusing on architecture, urban planning, and industrial design. His first major recognition came in 1948 when he won the Grand Prize at the VIII Milan Triennale. This distinction marked the beginning of a successful career, with approximately forty prestigious awards granted in various fields worldwide.
